Chemical Peels can be classified as superficial peels or medium depth peels depending on the chemical solution applied to the skin surface. They remove the outer layers of the skin to variable depths.

Superficial peels are provided by our beauty therapists.

Superficial chemical peels are helpful in reducing oiliness, unblocking pores, and reducing blackheads and freshen dull sundamaged skin.

Medium depth peels are provided by our medical skin specialists.

Medium depth chemical peels can help reduce the appearance of acne scars, age spots, pigmentation and superficial fine lines and wrinkles.

Usually a series of at least 3 to 6 superficial peels are needed to treat ageing skin and acne scars. For deeper scars, lines and wrinkles one to two medium peels may be needed.

Superficial peels result in mild facial redness and occasional swelling but this usually resolves within 48 hours. Medium peels result in a more intense redness and possible swelling, which usually has a recovery time of 5-10 days

Our team of experienced medical experts will advise on which type would benefit you most and how many peels you would require, depending on the condition you are being treated for. Call our friendly team NOW on 01227 472288
