:: Tattoo Removal
Tattoos
come in all shapes, sizes and colours. They can be a constant
reminder of a regretted episode in the past. Early attempts
to remove tattoos have had less than desirable results
- leaving behind scars in place of the tattoo.
The advent of Q switched lasers has enabled the removal
of most tattoos with minimal risk of scaring. The laser
breaks up the tattoo ink, which is then removed by the
body's natural filtering systems. The number of treatments
depends on the amount, type of ink used and the depth
of ink in the skin. It is therefore impossible to predict
the number of sessions or the degree of removal on any
given tattoo.
