The LuxG is optimized to produce light in dual bands of the spectrum to target pigmented and vascular lesions. Palomar's unique Accuspectrum technology filters out the undesired light between those wavelengths bands, which would otherwise bring unnecessary heat to the epidermis. And increased energy can be delivered for enhanced coagulation of vessels and pigmented lesions.
After treatment, vascular lesions constrict and fade from view, while pigmented lesions darken and rust, and are naturally sloughed from the skin within a couple of weeks.
Result: Removal of sunspots, melasma, telangiectasias and rosacea for a more even skin tone.

Lux1540 - for Skin Smoothness
The Lux1540 uses Palomar's patented Fractional Photothermolysis to deliver Soft Tissue Coagulation and Non-ablative Skin Resurfacing* with no downtime. This handpiece delivers light in an array of high-precision micro-beams, which create deep columns within the epidermis and dermis. These deep columns of coagulated tissue initiate a natural healing process that accelerates the formation of new, healthy tissue to fill in the coagulated columns; the deeper the columns, the more new tissue. The tissue surrounding the columns is spared from the epidermis damage, and coagulated cellular debris is expelled as the skin is resurfaced.
Result : Fresher, smoother, resurfaced skin.

LuxIR - for Skin Laxity
The LuxIR also uses Fractional technology to deliver Skin Tightening through Soft Tissue Coagulation. This handpiece sends infrared light pulses deep into the dermis, where it creates carefully controlled areas of elevated temperature. These areas cause soft tissue coagulation, which can lead to collagen remodeling in the deep dermis. Remodeled collagen can tighten sagging skin. Deep heating with infrared light can also stimulate increased collagen production and normalize the dermal/hypodermal junction, to create long term results.
Result: Tightening of skin laxity for a smoother feel and appearance.
