Fractional Laser Skin Resurfacing delivers multiple tiny micro beams of light to treat small zones in the skin, allowing a quick recovery.
At the Canterbury Skin and Laser Clinic, we offer the state of the art Lux 1540™ Fractional device from Palomar.
The Lux 1540™ can penetrate up to a depth of 1mm into the skin, whilst also leaving the skin’s surface intact. This stimulates quick healing within the surrounding deep tissue for the most effective skin resurfacing.
For several hours afterwards the skin will feel tight and have the appearance of a “sunburned” look. The skin will continue to look “pinkish” for 2 - 7 days . As the skin repairs itself, you will find mild to moderate skin flaking, which may last for up to 2 weeks.
A course of 3 - 5 sessions at monthly intervals is usually recommended. Optimal improvement after fractional treatment is usually visible in about 2 - 3 months as collagen remodelling and skin tightening continues.
In the Canterbury Skin & Laser Clinic, the treatment is carried out only by doctors with dermatology training and expertise.
We have clients from all over SE Kent including Ashford, Deal, Dover, Folkestone, Margate, Ramsgate, Hythe, Whitstable, Faversham, Sittingbourne, Sheppy, Maidstone and further afield.
